I don't understand whats going on with this preorder key. After work today im going to pick up a copy of GW that i reserved at my local GameStop. Now when i go to pick it up, will they give me a preorder key since i reserved it early? Or do i have to wait untill 12:01 tonite? Someone please explain.

Here is the way that this has worked. Pre-order boxes were/are for sale by retailers which granted you access to the Beta Events, AND get you in to play today (and tomorrow if you don't have your regular version yet). The idea was that the money you spent on the pre-order box would reserve you a copy of the retail box and you would recieve the price you paid as a discount, so that it was like putting $10 down for the retail version and in the mean time you got the pre-order box. Most retailers also allowed you to just pre-order the retail version of the game for the retail price. Now, this way you might not get the pre-order box with the special access.

So, that's what has happened. What I would suggest is that when you go to pick your game up, you either have them give you a pre-order box as well, or buy a pre-order box, and then turn around and show them the receipt to take that price off of your retail version. Ask them how they want to do it. But you should be able to get the pre-order box, as well as the retail box. And once you enter the pre-order code you can play today, and you will have the special in game item that goes along with pre-order boxes from that store.
